“ I'm usually skeptical with smashed burgers since they typically push out all the good juices - couple that with the fact I waited in line for 25 mins in 103 degree heat at the Have a Nice Day Market pop-up, it needed to be good. Unquestionably worth jt - super delicious with their awesome Sauce and caramelized onions! Can't wait until these guys have a store front so I can get this thing with some fries!!!! ”

“ We drove 40 minutes to their pop-up location and upon getting there, we found out they were sold out!! However, he offered us the literal last burger they had left (I think he actually made it for himself for eat). My husband insisted that he keep it but he said he really wanted us to try it. He gave some garlic aoli and spicy sauce on the side, and refused to charge us. The burger was fantastic!! I only know of one other halal smashburger in Houston, and Burger Bodega beats them by a mile. The garlic aoli was the best I've had, it would be great with some fries. So happy about this new addition to the Houston halal burger scene. This kind of customer service and food is hard to come by. I heard they're getting a brick and mortar this summer - can't wait! ”
“ Easily some of my favorite smash burgers in the city! They only offer one option on their menu and that's all they really need. The thing that makes BB unique is that each burger comes with two beef patties AND two slices of cheese. Also on the burgers are grilled onions, homemade pickles (I HATE pickles but these were so good), bodega sauce (a slightly tangy sauce), all served on a potato roll (my favorite!). My mouth is drooling just reminiscing on the delicious burgers. BB currently hosts pop ups at Ten Fold Coffee on Sundays. The line starts off long within the first hour, but it reduced to half the length by the 1.5 hr mark. Thankfully yesterday's weather was amazing so my girlfriend and I didn't mind the 40 minute wait. If you're looking for a juicy and hearty burger then visit Burger Bodega! I guarantee they will become one of your new favorites! ”
